Teachers Helping Teachers

Teaching is about sharing. Sharing your time, knowledge, energy and ideas with others so that it may enhance their lives in some way. It is a powerful gift. As teachers, we are often asked where we get many of the ideas that we use with our students and incorporate into our educational videos. Here are our secrets: Sometimes you're lucky and a brilliant idea comes out of seemingly nowhere. Other times you are inspired by a student to create a special, one-of-a-kind activity that just grows into a whole series of other ideas. And here's one more little secret that we want share and hope that you, in turn, will pass on to others: we talk with other teachers. Speaking with a community of like-minded educators is one of the best ways to learn, borrow, and implement "new" ideas while also helping to spark your own creativity. So we'd like to introduce you to our friends at Teacher's House Shop . They are dedicated to sharing teaching tips and making teaching, and learning, FUN! Their site is chock full of useful articles and affordable learning materials that can be used with children of varying ages and skill levels. Looking for games, books, suggestions? They have it all and are excited to share it with you. They've even been kind enough to help shine a little light on our videos, which you can check out HERE.
